This engagement session happened back in the summertime, but it’s been a bit busy around here and I’ve only just got around to featuring it on the blog. I’m posting it just in time too as it’s just under two weeks until their big day.
I’m particularly excited for this wedding because: 1. Jo and Alain are super lovely; 2. The details are going to be beautiful; and 3. I’m feeling especially honoured to be photographing this wedding as Jo is my cousin.
We met early one Sunday morning and spent an hour or two walking around the beautiful country park, taking photographs and catching up on each other’s news. As they are keen tennis players, we incorporated this into their phot0-shoot along with some more relaxed, romantic style photographs which they used on their wedding invitations.
They will be tying the knot in a beautiful church ceremony surrounded by family and friends from all over the world. The ceremony will be followed by a reception in a gorgeous country manor house. I took a visit to the reception venue recently and it is really beautiful. I am thrilled to be able to spend the day with this lovely couple and I can’t wait to photograph their first day as husband and wife soon!
Check out their engagement photos here and come back soon to see the photographs from their wedding day.
