I met up with this lovely family over the August bank holiday for a fun family photography session in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. We had a fabulous afternoon enjoying one of the last few days of the summer holiday and capturing some family memories.
One of the reasons I am a photographer is because of my own family. My Dad and my Uncle both inspired me from an early age to photograph the world and people around me. Over the past few years it has become really important to me to capture the special moments in my family’s life so that they can be treasured forever – not just snapshots, but beautiful, natural and emotive pictures that capture a moment in time. Pictures that in years to come will show my children where they come from, how much they are loved and the magical times we spent together. This is what I love doing and being able to do it for my family and other people’s families is such a joy. After I delivered these photographs I was delighted to get this feedback…..
“We asked for something natural that represented us a family and definitely think you delivered. In 3 years we have not been able to keep Zach still long enough to take his photo haha!”
I was inspired that this shoot would have a feel that cosy autumn days were on the way. We planned the clothes to reflect this and to tone in with the location we had selected.
Here are some of my favourites from the session followed by the preview film and a canvas wall display I designed.
