Last month I became a member of The Guild of Photographers, a highly regarded national photographic body and entered their very popular ‘Image of the Month’ competition. The competition entries are assessed by a Panel of highly experienced Judges who grade them in accordance with international judging criteria, and the higher scoring images are given a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Bar.
When the results for the February competition were announced I was so pleased because…..
I won a Bronze award!
A Bronze award is described by the guild as being awarded to ‘images of a strong standard at a national competition level (something to be proud of)’. So here’s a little look at the winning photograph.
